Thirty Years On

She glanced nonchalantly over her newspaper as she heard her husband come down the stairs. Gracing him with the presence of her eyes for a few brief seconds, she returned to the article she was reading, not really taking in what it said, just focussing on someone else’s life for a few moments, just to escape. She sipped from her cup of tea, reading the last few lines of this piece, about a woman who killed her two kids and her husband, before taking her own life. She closed and neatly folded the paper, setting it on the dining table, and now focussed on the sunny day outside, and moved to a couch, her couch, quite near the kitchen window

Long time, no update

Last journal was saying that it was a week until I turned 18. I turned 19 5 days ago. How time flies. I am now at university, and really behind in uploading. I promise I will do so soon, though :) Also, I'm currently happier with my life than I ever have been. Even though I can't afford much at the moment, due to having to pay off this baby.

ONE FREAKING WEEK

Seeing as my best friend is turning 18 eight days after me, and therefore hates every mention of my being able to go out and drink while she's staying at home, I thought that, for once, I would refrain from posting is on Facebook, but... IT'S ONE FREAKING WEEK UNTIL I TURN 18!! Of course, I've already got my main prezzie, the amazing love of my life, the Digital SLR :heart:. So yeah. Almost an adult.
